Pistol Indoor / Outdoor
The Howell Gun Club has two pistol ranges - Indoor and Outdoor. Ranges may be used by all members and up to three guests, which are referred to as Limited Member For the Day (LMFD).
Indoor Pistol
Howell Gun Club members that want to use the Indoor Range, during non-public shooting hours, need to complete a facilities orientation during a New Member Orientation. You will be shown how to operate the range equipment and review the Indoor Range rules. Once completed, you may access the range with your badge and the range is available 24/7, unless there is a special event scheduled. The Indoor Range is open to members for a fee of $3 per visit and for each LMFD a fee of $5.00. Targets are included with your range fees. The 50-ft Indoor Range may be used with most handgun rounds as well as .22 rifle and pistol caliber carbines.
Be sure to check the Club calendar for range closures before you head out to the Club grouns.

Outdoor Pistol
Our 50-ft Outdoor Range hosts covered shooting stations and a retrievable target system. The 50-ft range can also be used by rifle shooters (Pistol Caliber ONLY) and is open 7 days a week from 9a to 9p or dusk, whichever occurs first. The outdoor ranges may be used by all members and up to three guests, which are referred to as Limited Member For the Day (LMFD). LMFD's pay a $5.00 fee for the day, which allows them use of all outdoor ranges when accompanied by a member.
The Outdoor Pistol Range also has a 50-yard range to the
right of the covered area. This area includes one target retrieval system and several
steel targets out to 55 yards.
